ASEAN Plus Three Junior Science Odyssey (APT JSO) is an annual educational event in the field of science and technology for the young students aged between 13 to 15 years of age. This event is designed specifically to develop the gifed and talented of young individuals in the field of science and technology and to nurture future scientists and engineers.
It is a contest where science gifted middle school students recommended from APT (ASEAN+3) form a team to evaluate science problem solving through cooperation.
Middle school students between the ages of 13 and 15 in ASEAN+3 member countries
It is an exploration contest to evaluate and award students with experimental ability evaluation, idea generation and problem-solving skills, appropriate conclusions and presentation skills.
To encourage and challenge gifted students in science to excel in the field of science and technology

To provide the students with opportunity to foster friendship and networking in APT region
